Begonia U402's identity has finally been confirmed by Dr. Mark Tebbitt. It is a dark variant of Begonia ulmifolia. This plant was collected in Venezuela and has been grown and circulated under the American Begonia Societies unidentified species number U402. This is a fast growing shrub-like begonia. It has a very bushy growth habit and light pink flowers. Give it strong light but not hot sun and room to spread.

The Begonia ulmifolia (dark varient) arrived quickly, perfectly packed and was in perfect condition as well as huge!
