Columneas are sometimes called “Gold Fish Plants” because the large, usually orange flowers resemble a fish. Columnea gloriosa 'Gold Heart' does not need to bloom to stand out among the crowd. The tiny oval leaves are a bright golden color with a small edge of green. It will trail over the pot and make a dazzling small hanging basket or hang over the edge of a mixed planter. It has large orange flowers.

Care of Columnea gloriosa 'Gold Heart':
Shade to partial shade, temp. 55 to 95 degrees, 6 to 8 in. tall, trailing 18 to 24 in, allow getting slightly dry between waterings. Keep from cold drafts and use room temperature water.
