We do not issue refunds for any plants, but instead offer replacements and store credit when appropriate. Shipping costs and gift cards are non-refundable.

Replacements and store credits are issued at our discretion depending on the level of damage to the plant. We require pictures of the full plants along with close ups of any damage for review. A Replacement or Store Credit may be refused by Steve's Leaves at any time, if the customer does not completely adhere to the care & responsibilities guidelines associated with the "What to Do When Your Plant Arrives" card included with every order.

We have a 30-day guarantee, which means requests for replacements or store credits must be submitted within a 30 day period after receiving your plant. This guarantee only applies to damage that was not caused by cold weather. For extra protection against cold weather damage during transit we offer Winter Shipping Assurance.

As per the what to do guidelines linked above, if you choose to repot your plant before the 30 day time frame, you will be voiding your guarantee.

To start a case, you can fill out our Contact Us form or email support@stevesleaves.com. Full pictures of the plant along with relevant closeups of any damage are required with your submission. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your submission, and let you know if we have an available replacement to ship. If not, we'll let you know if we've approved a store credit. Please remember it can take some time for our customer service team to review your case and approve your replacement or store credit for the price of the plant.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us with pictures immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of gift cards.

Exchanges

Due to the perishable nature of plants, we do not accept exchanges at this time.
