Philodendron tortum is a climbing aroid native to the Atlantic rain forest of Brazil. The epithet "tortum" means twisted, in reference to the corkscrew shape of emerging leaves. Once unfurled, the leaves are split into numerous spindly lobes that give them a feathery appearance. This is a non-TC plant.
