Drimiopsis kirkii (Giant Squill)
Drimiopsis kirkii, also known as the Giant Squill, is a fleshy bulb from tropical South Africa. as its flower suggests, it s a relative to the more common Hyacinth. Lance-shaped leaves are succulent and covered in irregular leopard-like spots. Can be planted outdoors in zone 10 and above, but otherwise makes a beautiful potted specimen.
Care of Drimiopsis kirkii:
Shade to partial shade, temp. 45 to 90 degrees, 8 to 10 in. tall, allow getting slightly dry between watering.
