Begonia longiciliata ‘Sizemoreae’ (Limit of 1)
Due to the popularity of this plant, we are placing a LIMIT OF 1 per household/customer/address so others may enjoy as well. Thank you for understanding and adhering to the plant limit.
B. longiciliata ‘Sizemoreae’ was once considered a unique species (B. sizemoreae), but has since been reclassified as a form of B. longiciliata.
So this is a magnifcent form of B. longiciliata that was found in North Vietnam by plant hunter Mary Sizemore of Florida.
The oval shaped leaves are light green with a wide band of silver around the leaf. In the areas that are green the small veins are chocolate brown. The leaf surface is sparsely covered with long white hairs. The petioles are densely covered with white hair. This is really an unusual new find. It is fast growing and easy to propagate. It does like extra humidity. Grow it in a humid greenhouse or garden room or large terrarium.
Care of Begonia sizemoreae:
