Cissus adenopoda is an African native with the valid botanical name Cyphostemma adenopodum, but it is more commonly known by the synonym Cissus adenopoda. It is a gorgeous fast growing vine that climbs by tendrils and will make a beautiful hanging basket, or climb up a trellis. The leaves are compound and are composed of three leaflets. The leaf surface is covered with reddish hairs, which gives it a velvety feel. The back of the leaf is red. The flowers are small and insignificant.
