Syngonium rayii is a choice species for the terrarium or vivarium. It is native to Costa Rica and Panama. The arrowhead shaped leaves are a dark velvet green, sometimes with a silver stripe down the middle. The silver stripe is generally more prominent in juvenile foliage, but is not always present. As the plant matures it will lose the silver markings, but will retain its beautiful deep emerald coloration.
