Hatiora cylindrica (syn. Hatiora salicornioides f. cylindrica) was received from the private collection of Burle Marx. This is an epiphytic cactus in the rhipsalideae tribe that is native to tropical Brazil. Its delicate green stems branch profusely and produce small yellow flowers from the tips. It is closely related to Hatiora salicornioides, and at one point was classified as a variety of the species.

I received a very well rooted healthy plant. As you can see from the picture the roots were coming out of it's container. Ive had this plants for 2.5 weeks now and I very recently reported it to a larger planter pot as it was getting pretty dry. But it's such a pleasure having this one on my collection. Currently it's on a northern facing window.
