Drymonia chiribogana is a striking gesneriad native to the rainforests of Ecuador. The leaves are olive green with silver veins and have a smooth surface. It has the growth habit of a rambling shrub. The purple and white flowers appear from the light green calyx and line the thick stems. This African violet relative is easy to grow.

Shade, temp. 50 to 95 degrees, 3 to 5 feet tall, vining habit, allow getting slightly dry between waterings.
