Monstera dissecta is a tree-climbing aroid endemic to South America. Mature leaves are ovate, with prominent fenestration. Despite the fact that it is rarely found in cultivation, this plant can easily thrive in a household environment. Because it is a climbing plant, it is best grown on a moss pole or wood plank in order to develop mature fenestrated foliage.
