Cercestis mirabilis is an epiphytic aroid from the tropical rain forests of West Africa. Juvenile leaves and back-lobed and lanceolate and embossed with intricate white patterns. As this plant climbs, it will begin to produce mature leaves, first becoming larger with the white portions becoming yellow, and then becoming wholly green with prominent fenestrations.
