Begonia ‘Steve's Leaves Blizzard Bloom’ is one of our newest hybrids to be released. This is a hybrid of B. heracleifolia and B. 'Saxon's Mystery' created by Kevin Morykwas. This rhizomatous cultivar has the leaf shape and growth habit of B. heracleifolia but the leaf coloration of B. 'Saxon's Mystery' with the star-shaped leaves having very pleasing shades of pinks and purples. The leaves have a border of charcoal grey while the rest of the blade has hues of pink and grey with silver mottling. It has a full growth habit and will grow into a large clump. It blooms in the late winter and early spring with clusters of white to light pink flowers above the foliage. This is an easy plant to grow just remember to let it get pretty dry between waterings.
