Begonia 'Medora' is a shrub-like begonia, sometimes called the “Trout Leaf Begonia.” It has small elliptical leaves that are a medium green and covered with silver spots. It has a bushy growth habit and branches freely. In areas with cool nights it blooms freely with clusters of bright pink flowers. Medora is very easy to grow, and can be used as a bedding plant with your other annuals in some areas. It grows 2 to 2 ½ feet tall. Grow it as a background plant in beds or it makes a beautiful hanging basket.
