Begonia 'Benigo' is a shrub type begonia is a cross between the cane hybrid ‘Torch’ and the unidentified shrub species U062.The oblong leaves are dark green with pink markings. It has a bushy growth habit and branches easily. The flowers are pink and hang in small clusters. This is a very good heat tolerant variety. This is a seed sibling to Begonia ‘Maurice Amey’ and Begonia ‘Don Miller’. Naron, Don, and Maurice all enjoyed a game called Begonia bingo and that’s what sparked this name!
