This is a yet unnamed Philodendron currently identified with the accession number 69686. It was first described by botanist Dr. Thomas B. Croat, who came across this aroid in the personal collection of Roberto Burle Marx. It closely resembles Philodendron joepii, but it is known to be a distinct species or hybrid. It has tri-lobed leaves that are dark green and glossy. This is a climbing aroid that will grow well on a moss pole or other support.
