Hoya 'Hot Lips' is a cross between Hoya ‘MB0001’ (H. verticillata x H. rigida) and Hoya excavata. It exhibits thick green leaves and very light margins. This cross was created by Mike Bernardo and is said to be named after a character from MASH.

• Trailing or twining growth habit.
