Begonia bipinnatifida is a fantastic species from New Guinea. The bronze colored leaves are dissected twice to give them a fern-like appearance. It has a shrub-like growth habit and can get 10 to 12 in. tall. It will occasionally bloom with bright pink flowers. This is a rare species and is tricky to grow. It likes bright light and lots of humidity so it is usually grown in a terrarium or enclosed container.
