Rhipsalis baccifera subsp. shaferi is a thinner form of baccifera. Having less hairs then its counterpart, gives it a much slicker appearance. The thin branches become heavy and begin to cascade with age, making a great candidate for a hanging basket.

Care of Rhipsalis baccifera subsp. shaferi:
Partial sun to shade, temp. 45 to 95 degrees, 15 to 18 in. long. Allow to get dry between waterings.
