Philodendron werneri "Mini"
Philodendron werneri mini is a relatively recently declared species, only named as of 2013. It was first found in the highlands of Ecuador. This species has extrafloral nectaries on the leaves, which can sometimes give them a speckled appearance. These nectaries are thought to aid in the plants symbiotic relationship with ants. This miniature variety has smaller leaves growing to a few inches across.
