Begonia koksunii is a species from Peninsular Malaysia. In its native habitat it grows on steep earth banks above the river. It has a rhizomatous growth habit and grows in a rosette form. It likes extra humidity and is usually grown in a terrarium or humid greenhouse. The oval leaves or dark green with a broad silver band on the edge that extends down between the veins. The flowers are light pink and stand above the foliage.
