Begonia dongoranensis is a rhizomatous species native to the tropical forests of Sumatra, Indonesia. It is prized by collectors for its dramatic, quilted foliage, featuring deep brown to nearly black centers surrounded by bright green margins.

Please note that Begonia dongoranensis is currently an unofficial name. The plant was discovered by Albert Dongoran but has not yet been formally described or recognized as a species by taxonomists.
