Don't forget WSA!!!

We strongly recommend adding WSA if your local HIGH temperatures are below 55 degrees Fahrenheit in your location.

This is for very experienced plant enthusiast and can be very difficult plants that require very high humidity. As such, it has an "Arrive Alive Only" guarantee. It is HIGHLY recommended that you upgrade the shipping to OVERNIGHT for the safety of this plant as it is likely the plant will lose leaves otherwise; however, the plant will come back provided extremely high humidity is given.

Piper nigrum (Black Pepper) is a native to the Malabar coast of India. The spice, black pepper comes from the fruit of this tropical vine. The heart shaped leaves are dark green. This is fast growing and can be staked or grown in a hanging basket. The leaves and stems produce a natural secretion, tiny opaque dots, called cystolyths along with black pepper specs. These little crystals & specs are sometimes thought to be pests, but are not harmful & the plant should be secreting them!

Care of Piper nigrum (Black Pepper):
Shade to partial sun, temp. 50 to 95 degrees, will vine to 6 to 8ft. tall. Allow to get slightly dry between waterings. Family:  Piperaceae

This plant is shipped in a 3 inch pot.
