Begonia turrialbae is a new species from Cost Rica described by Dr. Kathleen Burt -Utley. It is a small rhizomatous begonia. The small leaf is light creamy green along the main veins with chocolate brown markings between the veins. It has a compact growth habit. This species likes extra humidity and is usually grown in a terrarium.

Shade to partial shade, temp. 45 to 95 degrees, 4 to 6 in. tall, allow getting fairly dry between watering.
