Begonia 'Steve's Leaves Mars Rising' - This is the newest Steve's Leaves Exclusive Begonia created by a former employee, Josh Brynell. The cross is Begonia chloroneura x Begonia kui. The dark leaves are textured with tiny bullae broken up by bright yellow veins. The leaves and stems are covered in vibrant red trichomes that resemble fine hairs. This is a low profile begonia whose leaves remain close to the ground in a mounding growth habit. There will be variation from plant to plant in color, texture and size.

Arrived in very good condition. I have it in my Ikea Baggebo indoor greenhouse and it is putting out a few new leaves and original leaves are still looking great. It is an unusual begonia with interesting colors and a lot of hairs on its leaves.
