Pseudorhipsalis ramulosa, also known as the Red Mistletoe Cactus, is an epiphytic cactus from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. Its flat, ribbon-like stems hang gracefully from a hanging basket and take on a deep reddish color when given plenty of sunlight. It produces greenish white flowers along the edges of the stems followed by small mistletoe-like fruits. Unlike their typical desert counterparts, tropical cacti such as this prefer high humidity and slightly more watering. Partial shade is preferred for this plant, but more sunlight will produce a deeper red color if desired.
Care of Pseudorhipsalis ramulosa:
Partial sun to shade, temp. 45 to 95 degrees, allow getting slightly dry between watering
Family: Cactaceae
This plant is shipped in a 3 inch pot.
