The common name “Crown of Thorns” comes from the thorny stems, when braided into a crown, looks like the “Crown of Thorns” of Jesus when on the cross. The leaves are medium sized and bright green. It has an upright growth habit. It will bloom most of the year, with bright pink flowers, if it gets enough sun. Grow in a sunny window or container in the full sun spring summer and fall. Protect from frost.
