Begonia 'Blueberry Sorbet' is our 2nd rex hybrid introduction. The medium sized leaves are silver with a metallic lavender blush near the center The leaf margin is lobed with green and chocolate brown markings. There is a blackish brown area at the point of petiole attachment. The reverse of the leaf has a red margin. It has a compact growth habit. The colors of the leaf will contrast beautifully with green and bronze foliage of many companion plants. Like many rex hybrids, the colors in the leaves tend to vary depending on season. Colors tend to dull in the heat of summer but will become more vibrant again as the weather cools.
