Begonia 'Steve's Leaves Helixopotamus' is an exclusive double helixed rhizomatous begonia that resulted from crossing B. 'Purple Curl' and B. U489. The summer leaves are sterling silver, resembling that of U489 but with tight double curls near the petiole. In the cooler, darker months the metallic leaves take on a royal purple blush.
