Pseuderanthemum carruthersii atropurpureum 'Rubrum' is commonly called “Black leaf Shooting Star”. The large oval leaves are a deep bronze color, almost black. This bushy tropical shrub is great to plant in a bed as contrast to the other plants. The flowers are white with small purple dots near the throat. It is also good in a mixed planter.

Care of Pseuderanthemum carruthersii atropurpureum 'Rubrum':
Shade to partial sun, temp. 45 to 95 degrees, 18 to 24 in. tall. Allow to get slightly dry between waterings.
