Begonia 'Steve's Leaves Cierge Magique' has large, olive green to black leaves that appear sheen and have a crinkled texture in higher amounts of light. The leaf margin is wavy and the backside of the leaf is red. The large flower clusters are an electric orange and the wings of the female flowers have a hint of pink, while the ovaries are white. When the early male flowers form, some have very long pedicels which give the young flower inflorescence a “bursting fireworks” effect. This cultivar has a rounded (up and out) growth habit which looks spectacular in a hanging basket.
