Don't forget WSA!!!

We strongly recommend adding WSA if your local HIGH temperatures are below 55 degrees Fahrenheit in your location.

Begonia 'Steve's Leaves Cosmic Candy' is one of our exclusive hybrids. The big beautiful spiral leaves are full of red and green set on a galaxy of white stars on a black background. These make beautiful robust plants. Like many rex hybrids, the colors in the leaves tend to vary depending on season. Colors tend to dull in the heat of summer but will become more vibrant again as the weather cools.

Gorgeous, make sure to read the description and you'll be happy!

The part where the description says cosmic candy appreciates a humidity boost? It's for real. I thought I could beat it since it's pretty humid here right now and my other begonias are happy. At least until winter when things get dry where I live. Don't be me lol!

She was living, but not to her best potential. Slightly crunchy on the edges, but no discoloration. Not the beautiful photo colors either though. About a week ago I started running a humidifier in the room every other day and she's much happier! More color, less crunch, a more relaxed spread of the leaves, and new growth. I couldn't imagine a winter without a humidifier!! Could probably go one day on, two days off with it in my climate in the summer when starting with a happy candy.

Pics included have the same pot and soil she arrived in. No flash, light is from a north facing window and ambient 10w grow bulb light. They aren't kidding in the description, a little supplemented humidity will reward you with a stunning plant. I can't wait to see her grow!
