Don't forget WSA!!!

We strongly recommend adding WSA if your local HIGH temperatures are below 55 degrees Fahrenheit in your location.

We received this begonia without a proper name, but we couldn't let that stop us from sharing it with our customers after we fell in love with the dark, deeply toothed foliage. For now we have decided to dub it Begonia "Florida Hybrid'. The spiraled leaves are palmately lobed with a serrated margin. New leaves emerge with a bronzy hue but darken to nearly black as the plant matures.

Care of Begonia "Florida Hybrid":

  • Bright, indirect light
  • 45 to 95 degrees
  • 8 to 10 in. tall
  • Humidity 50-60%
  • Allow soil to become fairly dry between waterings.

This plant is shipped in a 3.5 inch pot.

Awesome as always...

My recent order from Steve's Leaves continued to set the bar high in terms of receiving beautiful plants perfectly packed. After unwrapping all my plants I found no potting soil, no leaves, nothing that would lead me to believe that these beautiful plants had just come out of a box that was shipped halfway across the country. I can't say enough about the quality of both the plants and the people who care for them. Amazing...

What an interesting plant

I bought one of these and absolutely love it. It has so many different kinds of leaves. Some small, some large with a swirl at the base, some tightly lobed and some loosely lobed. It is fun to see what comes next
It seems to be really hardy. At this time B. Florida and B. Manaus are my favorites.
