B. erythrophylla ‘Helix’

I have a B. erythrophylla that I had procured from Steve’s Leaves about 2-3 years ago. This plant is incredibly easy to grow for a begonia and I have propagated this plant numerous times. When I saw that a sport of this plant was available, I had to order. I ordered 2 plants and was sent marvelous specimens. Both plants are big and their pots are full. The leaves differ from the standard B. erythrophylla in that they are wavy and curly. These plants will make a beautiful contrast to the standard B. erythrophylla. It will be interesting to see if this sport propagates as easily. I highly recommend the winter shipping assurance. The plants arrived wonderfully packed and Deb kept a look out for the best shipping date for my area based on weather conditions.
