Begonia squarrosa is a species in the Gireoudia section of begonias native to Central America. Leaves are marbled with black and green, the pattern of which changes with the seasons. Petioles and leaf margins are covered in tiny hairs that are either red or yellow. This begonia requires high humidity and we recommend growing in a terrarium or greenhouse setting.
