This plant cannot be shipped to the state of Hawaii.

Ludisia discolor var. nigrescens is a terrestrial jewel orchid from tropical Malaysia and grows in a well-drained soil mix. This variety has a single copper colored vein running through the center of the leaf, giving it an overall darker appearance than the usual discolor.

Care of Ludisia discolor:
Part shade, temp. 50-90 degrees, 6 to 8 in. tall, will trail 10-12 in. easy grower, winter bloomer.
