Fatshedera lizei 'Angyo Star' is an evergreen shrub hybrid between Fatsia japonica and Hedera helix (English Ivy). 'Angyo Star' got the best of both parents; it has giant ivy-shaped leaves with a beautiful cream variegation/margin but will not root into stucco or spread where unwanted. If planting outdoors, it seems to be cold hardy down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit; however, deer tend to love eating Fatshedera. The original hybrid was found in a garden in Nantes, France in 1910.
