Begonia 'Elephant Ear' is one of our new rhizomatous hybrids. It is a cross of the unidentified species U489 and the Asian species B. sizemorea. The leaves are giant. The leaves can be 12 x 14in; although, in a home setting this leaf size isn't likely to occur. The leaf is gray green in the center and on the margin with a wide silver band. The flowers are pink and appear most of the year.
