It has small green leaves decorated with black around the veins and margins. It has a compact and mounding growth habit, forming dense clusters of leaves as it creeps across the ground. The plentiful white flowers are suspended above the leaves for a beautiful floral display.
This species was used to create many of our eyelash-type hybrids such as B. 'Kevin Whitecotton' and B. 'Copper Sunset'.
Care':
Bright, indirect light, temp 45 to 95 degrees, 6 to 8ins. tall, allow soil to get fairly dry between waterings.
Family: Begoniaceae
This plant is shipped in a 3 - 4 inch pot.
