Z-4871 - Euphorbia lactea "White Ghost"
Euphorbia lactea "White Ghost" has pale grey to cream colored stems that give them gorgeously ghastly appearance. Due to its lack of chlorophyll, this plant is a very slow grower. Also known as the Dragon Bone Spurge, this is an upright shrub with a candelabra growth habit. It is cactus-like in appearance but not closely related to the cactaceae family. The succulent branches are three or four sided and lined with spines and small leaves. Like other members of Euphorbiaceae, this plant produces white latex sap that can irritate skin and should be handled with care.
Care of Euphorbia lactea:
Bright, indirect light. Full sun can burn the delicate white stems. Temp 40 to 100 degrees, generally grows to about 6 ft tall indoors but can grow much larger, allow to get dry between waterings.
