Thaumatophyllum spruceanum

Thaumatophyllum spruceanum (Formerly classified as Philodendron goeldii) is an unusual aroid with highly segmented leaves that somewhat resemble a very large schefflera when mature. Juvenile leaves are small and shield shaped with back lobes, but as mature leaves are produced they begin to split into numerous (15+) finger-like segments. This plant makes a beautiful climber on a moss pole or will remain shrub-like as a potted plant.

Bright, indirect light. Temp. 50 to 95 degrees. Humidity 60%+. Allow to get fairly dry between waterings.
