Begonia ferox x chloroneura is a new cross from the Steve's Leaves greenhouse. The lightly bullate leaves are strikingly dark with contrasting bright yellow veins. The leaves and petioles are covered in bright red hair-like trichomes. Newly emerging leaves are soft and fuzzy with the densely packed trichomes. This unique hybrid is an exciting display of contrasting colors and we're very excited to share it.
This is a limited release. As such, there will be variation in the coloring of these plants; no two are identical. We have selected specific plants to continue to grow-out, name & put into production; however, we have not seen how these plants will do in a home setting. Because of their lineage, we are assuming that they will need high humidity (>65%).
