Pachypodium lamerei is sometimes called “Madagascar Palm” or “Club Foot”. It has a thick succulent stem that is covered with long spines. The medium green leaves are long and narrow. The leaves usually only last one growing season and then drop. This odd plant is from Madagascar. These plants could be multi or single trunked. Allow it to get dry between watering.

Sun to part shade, temp. 50 to 95, 2 to 5 ft. tall, needs to get dry between watering
