Description
his little plant is usually called ‘Pink Splash’, but other common names are “Polka-dot Plant” or “Freckle Face”. The dark green oval leaves are covered with spots and splotches of bright rose pink, which makes the leaves mostly rose pink. Grow them in a sunny window or in light shade outside. In cooler parts of the country they can be grown in full sun. “Rose Splash” is used in mixed planters or plant it in flower beds outside in the warm season for contrast and color. These plants are so bright they do not need to flower. Occasionally cut them back to keep their shape. This a great plant for bright color indoors or out.
