Costus tappenbeckianus is a incredible plant. the petiole spirals up from a central point with single leaves produced only on one side. This gives the elegant look of a spiral staircase. This plant does well in lower light but benefits from higher humidity. To top it all off it blooms beautiful pink flowers that have a glorious scent at the base of the plant.
