Columneas are sometimes called “Gold Fish Plants” because the large, usually orange, flowers resemble a fish. Columnea gloriosa ‘Gold Heart’ does not need to bloom to stand out among the crowd. The tiny oval leaves are a bright golden color with a small edge of green. It will trail over the pot and make a dazzling small hanging basket or hang over the edge of a mixed planter. It has large orange flowers.
