Begonia ‘Pink Diamond’ is a very nice rex cultivar hybridized by John Howell of San Antonio, Texas. John was an enthusiastic hobbist who was breeding rex begonias for heat tolerance. It seems he was successful with this variety. The leaves are medium large, silver with a pinkish glow. It has a compact, full growth habit. When grown in the heat make sure it is watered well. Providing it with extra humidity will help it thrive, such as growing it near a garden pond or fountain.

Shade to partial shade, 55 to 100 degrees, allow getting slightly dry between watering.
