Begonia ‘Helen Teupel’ is a classic rex begonia hybrid, created in 1928, in Germany. The leaves are maroon with pink and silver blotches toward the leaf margin. The leaf petiole is red and covered with red hairs. The margin is cleft and the tip comes to a point. This is one of the easier rex hybrids to grow.
