Begonia ‘Elephant Ear’ is one of our new rhizomatous hybrids. It is a cross of the unidentified species U489 and the Asian species B. sizemorea. The leaves are giant. The leaves can be 12 x 14in. The leaf is gray green in the center and on the margin with a wide silver band. The flowers are pink and appear most of the year.

Shade to partial shade, temp. 45 to 95 degrees, 14in. tall, allow getting fairly dry between watering
