Begonia ‘Challenger’ is a gigantic leafed rhizomatous hybrid from Australia. The leaves are light green and can get 15in. or more across. It has an open growth habit. The flowers arise above the foliage in winter and early spring. The flower buds are greenish and open to white flowers. Challenger will grow into a huge plant in the right conditions. It can get 5ft. across. This is another product of the very talented Australian hybridizer, Ross Bolwell.
